Embodied Sound Festival

This year, for the first time, we are gathering at the grounds of Ängsbacka, to let our feet touch the soil, to join our hands and hearts and use our senses to tune into the drumbeat and singing of Mother Nature herself. Together we form a circle of Embodied Sound.

TIME TO REST. TIME TO LEARN. TIME TO RECONNECT.

All of us are instruments. We can use our voices not only to communicate in words. With practice and allowance, our bodies can become a most powerful vessel for a wide range of self expression; from the softest whisper to your unmasked, primordial sound originating from deep inside.

Embodied Sound invites you to a safe, supportive and co-creative environment where participants and facilitators together explore how different instruments, including your body, can become a gateway to musicality. Let’s have fun learning from each other and practise staying connected to ourselves, honouring the vulnerability and power of our voice and our personal expression of musicality.

Embodied Sound offers a well balanced program of sound healing science, therapy, life transforming experiential workshops and beautiful concerts. Renowned space holders will offer their guidance and tools such as gongs, chimes and drums for you to experience and learn about the therapeutic properties of sound. Explore your own voice and embrace deep listening and enhance your receptivity. Practice letting go and allowing yourself to be carried into relaxation and rejuvenation. Get to know silence from a deeper perspective than just being the absence of sound.
